Pet gift program

The pet data is real now: it comes off the lease file, pet's name and all. We still don't get pets' birthdays, so the renewal window stays the trigger. A small, unexpected good-will touch right before the renewal conversation.

Data

Live from getLeases: 34 pet records across 30 of the 52 leases, each with name, type, breed, color, gender, age, weight and move-in date. Capture the whole record, not just the name.

Excluded

Service and assistance animals are not pets and never enter this program. Any record flagged isAssistanceAnimal is dropped, along with every other pet-themed touch, because singling out a resident's assistance animal singles them out on a disability. A missing or unreadable flag excludes the record. Same rule for anything added through the Welcome Profile.

Card copy

Handwrytten writes it. The full record is what makes it specific ("we hope Bella is loving the new dog park") instead of generic ("your dog").

Gaps

The lease file carries no vet and no treat preference. The Welcome Profile in the new-tenant packet picks those up.

PM note. The card is personalized off the pet record on the lease, so the name and the breed are real, not a merge field guess. The Welcome Profile fills in what the PMS doesn't carry. Service and assistance animals are excluded, so this card never goes to one, and the card is written for one named pet rather than "every animal in the building." No emoji per brand; the paw mark is a simple line illustration.
